President of the United States Barack Obama turned 50 years old in 2011, and was raised in Chicago, where Michael Jordan played and brought 6 championships. Recently they started talking trash about each others basketball and golf skills and seem to be good friends. In 2012, when Barack Obama ran for President once again, Jordan fundraised for him.
Now according to James Dator, who spoke with David Axelrod (Former Senior Advisor to the President of the United States) of SB Nation:
“I sent it to Jordan to have him sign it for me.” In black Sharpie, Jordan scrawled, “To Barrack: you still owe me dinner. Wishing you well, Michael Jordan.”
“I gave it to the president, and he said, ‘I can’t put this up, he misspelled my name!’ So I said, ‘Fine, I’ll take it.’ ”
Obviously David Axelrod kept a Michael Jordan souvenir, which is pretty awesome.
One thing I really don’t understand is, how can you spell the name of the President wrong? Oh I know. You can be Michael Jordan.
