It isn’t often when one can celebrate not 1, not 2 or 3 but 23 major titles that is.
Well Serena Williams is the proud receipent of her 23rd Grand Slam crown. The “GOAT” hoisted her recent accomplishment as she won the Australian Open against her sister Venus Williams.
During an immediate interview after the event, another GOAT in his respective sport, Michael Jordan, had a gift waiting for Serena. Nestled in a special packaging were two sneakers. Air Jordan’s to be exact. Both sneakers are Air Jordan 1s, which are apart of the Serena Williams x Air Jordan Collection. For these two pairs though, they are specially made to celebrate her 23rd Grand Slam.
The Red/Black pair is available at Nike Soho and was actually worn by her as she accepted her trophy during the ceremony. Check out the video of Serena Williams accepting her gift from MJ with a letter congratulating her;
