This victory will prove to be huge for the Bloomberg campaign. He is not projected to win any states thus far. However, he is in the hunt to pick up a handful of delegates across several states. Moving forward, he’ll have to keep hope alive in the handful of primaries set to place exactly a week from today. While it is mathematically unlikely that he will earn the number of delegates needed to secure to Democratic nomination outright, anything is possible.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders as the favorites to reach the mark needed to secure the Democratic nomination. The two have combined to win every other primary tonight. Bloomberg will look to catch those two if he can. Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more updates and news throughout the night.
