Early in the season, Josh McRoberts went down with a season-ending injury, with the trade for Goran Dragic and his dragon brother Zoran they gave up a few players and the recent season-ending condition to Chris Bosh, now the Miami Heat all of a sudden find themselves with a thin roster. They only have 12 active guys right now after bringing in former New York Knicks guard Bill Walker (known now as Henry Walker) to try and fill out their team but now, they need more than just bodies, they need some sort of talent.
What about a man who’s found immense success overseas including dropping 59 points in a Chinese Basketball Association All-Star Game?
Insert Michael Beasley.
Following from the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman.
Please do not jump to conclusions … but the Sun Sentinel has learned that Michael Beasley has been working out at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Now, like Winderman said, do NOT jump to conclusions but, I don’t know many people who just work out at local NBA arenas. Let alone a guy who was a former lottery pick by the team, actually the second overall pick by the team in 2008, you know right after Derrick Rose went first and O.J. Mayo, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love went 3,4,5 right after Beasley.
But hey, who’s counting?
Bottomline is, somewhere, deep inside, Beasley still has talent. He’s 28 years old, may possibly know what’s happening on the basketball court now and according to some reports, he’s actually open to a return.
So, if the Heat can’t decide on anything else and there’s no better options out there for a big 3/stretch 4, why not sign Beasley?
Just got to be easy, Mike Beasley.
