MGM released the second full-length trailer for their upcoming film Creed II, the highly-anticipated sequel to 2015’s Creed.
The trailer pits Adonis (Michael B. Jordan) against Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) as Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) returns to challenge Creed to a fight with his son. Adonis’ drive to avenge his father puts him at odds with nearly everyone around him. He then argues with Rocky, Bianca (Tessa Thompson), and Mary Anne Creed (Phylicia Rashad), his adopted mother and father’s widow throughout the trailer before that gives way to scenes of the fight with Drago.

Michael B. Jordan is returning as the titular Adonis Creed, alongside Sylvester Stallone who is reprising his role as Rocky Balboa for the 8th time. Tessa Thompson is also returning to reprise her role as Bianca. Dolph Lundgren is returning to the ‘Rocky’ franchise to reprise his Rocky IV role as Ivan Drago with series newcomer Florian Munteanu play Viktor Drago. Ryan Coogler directed the first film but did not return for the sequel. Instead, Steven Caple Jr. directed and Cheo Hodari Coker wrote the film.
Creed II hits theaters this Thanksgiving.
