The hunt for LaMarcus Aldridge has just got that little bit tastier. On top of the New York Knicks getting blown off by LaMarcus Aldridge which just adds on to the Knicks woes. The Knicks position on the hunt is replaced immediately by none other than the Miami Heat.
According to multiple sources, the Miami Heat have officially thrown their hat into the Aldridge ring. Pat Riley will meet with LMA straight after LaMarcus has his second meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers. (lifeline for them eh?)

As a Heat fan, I hope this is actually possible, I don’t just want Riley to meet with him and they can’t even give him a deal. Imagine this. Shabazz Napier, Dwyane Wade, Justise Winslow, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, Hassan Whiteside and LaMarcus Aldridge. I don’t know about you, but that is a lock for second best in the Eastern Conference, giving the Cleveland Cavaliers a definite challenge. They can be the teams to dominate the Eastern Conference, with all the other teams weakened or coasting, they’d have to fight hard to put a dent in Miami and Cleveland’s armour.
But I don’t want to dream now, because this seems a bit of a reach for the Heat, considering they still haven’t officially locked up Dwyane Wade.
