With LeBron out with a broken nose suffered from Serge Ibaka’s hand in the previous game. It was a chance for the Bulls to make another statement win against the Heat. If you remember last year Chicago was the team that ended the Heat’s 27 game win streak so there was a little bad blood out there.
So unlike the previous game (LAC @ OKC) we expected this to be a scrappy game, and boy was it.
The teams didn’t crack 100 points combined until mid-late 3rd quarter. It was ugly.
But out of the ugly came a stand out performance by DWade and Chris Bosh. 51 points and 10 rebounds each for the duo. As the Bulls grew weak and Noah couldn’t carry them anymore, the Heat pulled away going on a double digit run throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters.
93-79 was the final score. Marking Eric Spoelstra’s 300th career win as a head coach and making the Heat’s record without LeBron this season 7-1.
