This was the most even series out of all of them in my view.
Every game was end to end. Never knowing who had the edge in the series.
But it was a block by Paul Pierce that silenced a whole country for there to be a true winner.
Brooklyn are through to the second round after another 7 game first round. This time winning it.
It was a hard fought game seven as they always are. Brooklyn turned up accordingly with 6 players in double digit points (Joe Johnson with team high 26). Even though the Raptors had two players with 20+ points (Amir & Lowry), Jonas Valenciunas’ Roy Hibbert like performance was the outlier. Three points and only 5 rebounds. That’s not Playoff worthy.
So with Brooklyn fighting for a place in the next round, they now have to face a fresh Miami side that have been resting for nearly a week now.
Brooklyn cannot afford to celebrate one minute. Miami are fresh, Brooklyn have just been through a 7 game series.
Safe to say Brooklyn need all the rest they can get.
