We all knew it was a possibility. We all knew that the infamous Metta World Peace (Formerly Ron Artest) would come back.
We knew that China was a tune up, he didn’t want to make a career out of it like Stephon Marbury, of course not! There was always a chance of Metta World Peace coming back and now according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. It’s nearly a reality.

I am so glad that “Pandas Friend” thing stayed in China. I’m not watching an NBA broadcast where Mike Breen or Kevin Harlan has to say “Pandas Friend puts up a three!”. I’d switch the TV off then and there. I still don’t get Metta World Peace, that’s just deed poll abuse. Like that guy who legally changed his name to every popular superhero.
And believe it or not, the Lakers should take him. He still gets the job done, defence is not a problem for him, Lord knows they need D. I like this potential signing. Metta just got to prove that he’s still fit and boom, he’s at Lakers training camp.
