The Brooklyn Nets made an impression on Metta World Peace on their first trip to the Staples Center last night, but not for reasons endearing to the Lakers forward. World Peace went on a Twitter rant last night, voicing his opinion on the ‘flopping’ that two Nets players – Gerald Wallace and Reggie Evans – took part in. And, World Peace may actually have a point with the things he’s saying.
It’s just not the Brooklyn way.
On a side-note, Reggie Evans looks like he’ll be the first player fined by the NBA under the new flopping violation code; Evans was already warned for flopping against the Celtics last week. A first offense after a warning incurs a $5,000 fine.
