Nearly three years ago, the world of music mourned the sudden death of Mac Miller. On September 7, 2018, he was reportedly found in his Los Angeles home after ingesting oxycodone laced with fentanyl. However, it has been reported that the Pittsburgh native was not aware that the oxycodone was laced with fentanyl.
Immediately after learning more about the circumstances of his death, authorities began looking deeper into how Mac Miller obtained the drugs that led to his death. All Hip Hop reports that the award-winning musician bought five oxycodone pills, five Xanax pills, five Norco pills, two grams of cocaine and 10 Adderall pills from a woman named Mia Johannson just days before his death. Those drugs we eventually tied back to Cameron Pettit. From there, the DEA connected three Los Angeles residents, Cameron Pettit, Stephen Walter, and Ryan Reavis, to a drug ring. Shortly thereafter, the trio was arrested and has been held without bail ever since.
After being arrested and held without bail for two years, it appears that three men will finally have their day in court. A trial date has been set for November 16, 2021.
