Today must be a great day because Flo Milli, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have all delivered new music. Leading the way, Cardi B returned after more than a six-month hiatus with the “Up” video. Flo Milli also delivered the innovative visuals for “Roaring 20s.” Rounding out the trio, Megan Thee Stallion set it off with the “Cry Baby” video featuring DaBaby on Thursday. One day later, she’s returned with a completely different sound for “I’m A King” with Bobby Sessions.
Setting the stage for the Coming 2 America soundtrack, Megan Thee Stallion and Bobby Sessions put together an upbeat, bouncy record where the two talk about setting up the next generation for success while reaching great heights themselves.
“Look at the gold medals, sit down, you should know better/Drive a Rolls-Royce through the red rose pedals/Run my bathwater, run the kingdom, run it smarter/And leave a legacy for my future granddaughters/I’m a queen, I’m a queen, I’m a queen,” Megan Thee Stallion raps.
The full soundtrack will arrive on March 5. While we wait, check out “I’m A King” below.
