Just when I thought that the Sacramento Kings were taking some steps forward in becoming a fully functional franchise, they go and revert back to the stupidity that we know and, I’m not even going to say love, this whole franchise is tragically unprofessional.
Last week there were sudden reports that George Karl was going to get fired. Completely out of the blue. And just when you thought the next report would say “George Karl has been fired”, the Sacramento Kings do a 180 and decide not to fire him. I can’t comprehend how embarrassing that franchise is. One step forward, three steps back.
And now, according to Yahoo! Sports, the Kings are going to try and tell us that everything’s fine. It’s all good guys, Karl and Divac have met and it’s all good.
Karl said before the Kings-76ers game in Philadelphia that he and Divac are on the same page.
”I’ve always felt good about Vlade. I don’t think Vlade and I have a disconnect other than we want to win more games than we’re winning right now,” Karl said. ”And that’s fine with me. Everyone should want to win more games.”
Karl says he thinks the team’s current funk is temporary.
One word I have to describe all that.
Bull.
This is all bull, they’re far from good, they don’t light up a cigar and toast to letting bygones be bygones. It’s a trainwreck. They’re the Cleveland Browns of the NBA with this much dysfunction. I’m surprised they’ve won 20 games with all this.
I can’t trust anything these people say, you can’t have all that stuff from last week and then literally wake up one day and do a 180. No. That’s unacceptable.
