Meek Mill missed out on a hefty check for a performance in Abu Dhabi because of Judge Genece Brinkley.
Meek Mill was scheduled to perform in Abu Dhabi in April, however, Judge Brinkley put it to a halt. This is all according to 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin in an interview with ESPN’s Outside the Lines. The rapper was unable to perform, therefore, missed out on a $450,000 paycheck.
Meek Mill’s team submitted a travel request for the performance in March, which according to Complex, “needed to have been granted no later than March 15 for booking purposes.”
Judge Brinkley missed the deadline by four days and approved the request on March 19. The late request approval is alleged to be on purpose.
Brinkley, who is linked to Meek’s on-going probation case, also denied approval for entrance to Canada for the Sixers-Raptors playoff games. Micheal Rubin made an Instagram post last month in regards to being denied entry.
