Philadelphia’s own Meek Mill hasn’t released an album since he dropped Championships in late 2018. With that said, he has managed to keep his fans fed recently with guest appearances on Vory’s self-titled album and a number of freestyles. Most recently, he dropped the “Mandela Freestyle” in celebration of receiving the Nelson Mandela Changemaker Award. Now, he’s back yet again and he’s looking to go bigger than ever.
Adding to what will be a memorable night for music releases, the Philadelphia native has dropped a new single called “Sharing Locations” with Lil’ Durk and Lil’ Baby. Backed by thunderous production from svdominik, ProdByKJ and Nick Papz, the three stars trade bars for three minutes straight.
“I got a lil’ bitch from the hood/I call her, ‘Gang,’ she don’t play with that bae sh*t/I be f*ckin’ this NBA n*gga b*tch/’Cause she know I ain’t ever gon’ say sh*t/New contract big like I play ball/Lil’ boy, I ain’t nothin’ to play with/I told her, Pull up,’ she told me she can’t/Her n*gga be sharin’ location,” the three festival headliners rap on the song’s hook.
From “Flamerz Flow” to “War Stories,” Meek Mill has had one thing on his mind and that’s to prove that he can rap as well as any major artist in the game. Thus far, he’s proved that. Check out how he stacks up against Lil’ Durk and Lil’ Baby on “Sharing Locations” below.
