Meek Mill has officially moved on from playing checkers to playing chess. The rapper, who has already made a name for himself on the Hip-Hop circuit, is looking at the bigger picture. In that bigger picture, his eyes are set on his new record label, Dream Chasers Records.
Coming as an early morning announcement, Meek Mill has teamed with JAY-Z and Roc Nation to bring Dream Chasers Records to life. Already working with the Brooklyn mogul on other ventures, this partnership on a record label front comes as no surprise.

Taking on a leadership role, Meek Mill will serve as the label’s president and oversee both the label and staff. The Philly rapper will continue to record and release music under his MMG/Atlantic deal, which recently saw success with his Championships LP.
A big win on all fronts for Meek Mill, Dream Chasers Records could be home to Hip-Hop’s next “it” act. We’re most definitely excited to see and hear the talent the label will bring.
