FX’s Sons of Anarchy spin-off, Mayans MC has been popular for the network since it premiered last year. It’s hard to call it a hit but that has more to do with the changing landscape of television than the series itself. It’s as close to a hit as something can be in the post-Thrones world of niche shows and streaming series dropping all at once.
So, most Mayans fans expected radio silence until Comic-Con next week, where FX has a Mayans panel planned. Well, FX had other plans as the network dropped a short new teaser for the second season of the show. And when I say short, I mean short. It’s about 15 seconds long and probably only makes sense to people who’ve seen the show before. Which, in all honesty, I haven’t so I’m not going to try and decipher everything that flashes on-screen in the teaser. Just know, gang shit is happening and it seems like someone’s about to end up on the Mayans‘ bad side.
