Washington Nationals right hander Max Scherzer threw his first career no-hitter today as the Nats the Pittsburgh Pirates today 6-0. Scherzer threw a one hitter in his previous start against the Brewers just 6 days ago, this man is simply untouchable right now. Max had a perfect game heading into the 9th inning until Jose Tabata was hit by a pitch with only one out remaining. Scherzer quickly shrugged it off however as he retired Josh Harrison on an easy pop fly to end the game. After signing with Washington this past offseason for a big money contract Scherzer has enjoyed life pitching in a much friendlier National league. Take a look at Scherzer’s dominating performance.
