
Dallas Mavericks guard Wesley Matthews will participate in the annual three-point contest over All-Star weekend next month, according to multiple Dallas beat writers.

Apparently, if a slip from Yogi Ferrell is correct, Wesley Matthews will be unleashing bows and arrows at All Star in the 3-point shootout.

Matthews is having a better campaign with the Mavericks this season, seeing improvements in his field goal percentage and three-point percentage.
After shooting 36 percent from behind-the-arc last season, he is connecting on 38 percent of his attempts this season.
Matthews will compete against Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum and other sharpshooters in the annual event. He was a participant in the 2015 event, taking fourth place in the contest won by Warriors guard Stephen Curry.
Matthews is a career 39% shooter from deep.
