Linsanity might be going to the Dallas Mavericks. The unrestricted free agent may be getting traded in a sign-and-trade to the Dallas Mavericks. According to Adrian Wojnarowski:
Sources: Dallas engaging Lakers on sign-and-trade options for free agent Jeremy Lin. Mavs low on space to sign him to market-level deal.

This deal will most likely will happen, except the Mavericks don’t really have much to offer. I mean they don’t really have a full roster, so they wouldn’t be able to trade anyone. The Lakers have been looking to ship Nick Young as well, which could open up a package deal that would help the Mavericks with some bench scoring they desperately need. If they do this, Lin or Harris will be taking the point guard role in Dallas, which means, throwing it to DeAndre Jordan, passing it to Dirk and getting Wesley Matthews and Chandler Parsons open. Lin has been known for his turnovers and inconsistency, so I don’t see why the Mavericks would go for him.
