Dallas Mavericks seem to be prepared for the playoff push ahead in the second half, well remaining games, of the season with their team coming to full force.
Rajon Rondo went down a few weeks ago with some facial injuries after a freak accident with Richard Jefferson and he missed a few games going into the All-Star break.
Amar’e Stoudemire was waived by the Knicks and with no time wasted he decided to commit himself to the Dallas Mavericks and join their team. The Mavericks also waived Ricky Ledo to make room for STAT.
Now it seems like the Mavericks are poised to make a big push to move up in the Western Conference standings and it starts on Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first game for both teams after the All-Star break.
Bryan Gutierrez blasted the following out on Cyberdust (the new social media app created by Mark Cuban):
“News out of practice today is that Rajon Rondo will be ready to return against Oklahoma City on Thurdays. Mavs will likely have Amar’e Stoudemire available for that game too.”
Dallas can make a real move up the standings if their team stays healthy. Looking at where they stand right now, with the San Antonio Spurs and Thunder lurking behind them, the Mavs are trying too move up and make some teams like the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers possibly fall down.
Mavs are looking to make some big moves, starting as soon as their first game in the second-half of the season.
