Matt Bonner Re-Signs With Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs announced that they have re-signed “The Red Rocket” Matt Bonner. The terms are still undisclosed but it’s confirmed that the veteran will be back in San Antonio for a ninth season — the longest tenure outside of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan.
Bonner is one of those truly valued guys to the organization both on and off the floor. He averaged just 3.2 points in 11.3 minutes in 61 games last season and shot 42.9 percent from three-point range.
Bonner is third in Spurs franchise history in three-pointers made and seventh in three-point field goal percentage.
