‘Empire’ continues to kill with the ratings each and every week. Not only is the show great but the music that accompanies every episode is no slouch neither. Hence why Jussie Smollett who plays Jamal on the show has inked a record deal with Columbia, all thanks to his music being heard through ‘Empire’.
Tuesday, March 10, 2015 the Empire Original Soundtrack From Season 1 will be releasing and it contains all original music.
Today ‘Shake Down’ one of the records from the soundtrack was released and it features Mary J. Blige and actor Terrence Howard. The song serves as a flash back since the character who Blige plays, Angie is a woman from Lucious past, which is being slated to be a very important scene.
