Marvel’s Doctor Strange will be shot in the UK and has received a release date.
According to ScreenDaily, Marvel is finalizing negotiations with Pinewood-Shepperton studios about a possible mid -2015 movie shoot.
The movie is said to begin filming next May, although the film crew will begin setting up the set earlier this year.
Scott Derrickson has signed on to direct the comic book adaptation, which centers around the Sorcerer Supreme and sworn protector of the Earth.
So far, Joaquin Phoenix is in final talks for the lead role.
Doctor Strange will be released in theaters on July 8, 2016.
