Today is the day! It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for. Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame will premiere in the United States tonight. We’ll finally figure out how the Avengers plan to deal with Thanos or if they will fall short. While we wait to find out how everything will play out, our friends in China have already seen the film.
In an unprecedented move, Marvel elected to premiere the film in China before the United States. Their decision to expand globally has paid off. As reported by Variety, Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame is expected to earn $100 million as it opens overseas. If all holds true, the film will have the biggest opening for any Hollywood movie in the country’s history. However, there was one setback during the film’s premiere.
Marvel’s prize jewel, Avengers: Endgame, appears to have leaked online following its premiere in China. According to a published report, a “copy evidently recorded in a Chinese movie theater [is] now circulating online.” Hopefully, this new leak will not lead to further spoilers.
