Brooks also spent his 2014-15 season playing overseas in the Euroleague as a member of the Olimpia Milano. He averaged 13.3 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 45.6 percent from the field a night over 67 games last season in Europe. Brooks also played a couple of quality years in the NBA. He was drafted out of Providence College by the then New Jersey Nets with the 25th overall pick in 2011. He had a stellar rookie season in Brooklyn putting up a quality stat line of 12.5 points to go along with 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He looked to have a promising future in the NBA after his rookie season, but a trade to the Boston Celtics changed all of that. He wasn’t utilized in their rotation very much and ultimately flared out. He also had stints with the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers when he most recently played in the NBA.
