All summer long, the running storyline concerning the Phoenix Suns troubled budding star forward Markieff Morris was very simple. He doesn’t want to play with Phoenix anymore.
His brother said so, there were reports that he wasn’t talking to teammates and Morris even reportedly said so himself but now, Markieff is looking to change his tone. A complete 180 in fact and now it appears that Markieff actually has seen the bright side of the sun. He wants to stick around.

At this time, no one knows what cause the switch in Morris’ tone. His brother getting traded was reportedly his tipping point and he hadn’t been too adamant on sticking around. It’s strange because he’s not hitting free agency anytime soon, he’s not due for an extension and he’s not even making money that he wouldn’t get on the open market.
Someone, possibly the newest member of the Suns Tyson Chandler or his coach Jeff Hornacek, must have talked to Markieff about what he’s doing to not only himself but the team because to have such a dramatic change of heart means something had to have gone down to make him recommit to the Suns.
