Markelle Fultz has had a shaky start to the 2018-19 NBA season so far. From double-pumping free throws, to his shooting form getting over-analyzed every night on Twitter. Fultz has had an outlandish NBA career to say the least.
A huge part of Fultz’ bizarre career comes from his inability to shoot the ball. This is directly linked to his past shoulder injuries. Now, according to multiple reports from the Athletic, Fultz has been dealing with right wrist problems this season, further affecting his troubled shooting form.
The former first-overall pick has struggled mightily with his shooting mechanics. Some days, the second-year guard seemed to have found his shot. Other days, like his juggling act against the Indiana Pacers, it couldn’t be more apparent that Fultz was having problems that needed to be fixed.

Fultz and his agent, Raymond Brothers, have since then scheduled a meeting in New York Monday, with a shoulder specialist set to examine his injuries. Until then, Fultz will not participate in any of the Philadelphia 76ers’ games or practices.
At the appointment, the guard will have his shoulder and now his wrist examined, hoping to get a clear diagnosis of the recent problems. Problems that the Sixers were not aware of, according to Sam Amick, Derek Bodner, Jared Weiss, Shams Charania and David Aldridge from the Athletic. They also report that Fultz would like a fresh start with a new team.
Sources say the Philadelphia 76ers have not been aware of any ailment preventing Fultz from being medically cleared or in harm’s way on the basketball court.
…
Sources with knowledge of Fultz’s thinking have also told The Athletic that the player would prefer a fresh start with a new team.
Raymond Brothers would later shut this source down by telling ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that he has given no indication to Philadelphia about a trade.
Raymond Brothers, the agent for Sixers guard Markelle Fultz, tells ESPN: “I have given no indication to Elton Brand or anyone else that Markelle would prefer to be traded. My focus is to get Markelle healthy. End of story.”

It is worth noting that in college, Fultz shot 41.3 percent from the three-point line on five attempts per game. Along with his ability to finish at the rim, his shooting was what made Markelle Fultz worthy of the first-overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.
