Mark Wahlberg‘s 2007 conspiracy film Shooter has been given a pilot order.
The new series will be based on the film and best-selling novel – Point of Impact by Steven Hunter.
According to Deadline, the show will focus on ex-Marine sniper who is persuaded back into action after learning about a plot to kill the president.
He is then forced to go on the run after he is framed for attempted murder, and must find out who set him up.
