According to Deadline, the actor is set to reteam with Will Ferrell in the upcoming comedy.
Horrible Bosses 2’s Sean Anders and John Morris are in talks to direct the movie.
Daddy’s Home will star Ferrell as a mild-mannered radio executive who struggles to become the best stepdad that he can.
His attempts are derailed by the arrival of the children’s obnoxious real father [Wahlberg], sparking a contest for their affection.
Wahlberg will be seen in Transformer: Age of Extinction and The Gambler.
Daddy’s Home begins shooting this fall.
