Dallas Mavericks outspoken, always entertaining, constantly involved and extremely rich owner, Mark Cuban always has a good thought or 2 when it comes to anything NBA. He’s usually a great interview for anyone.
When Cuban was asked about the Los Angeles Lakers, who are now 2-9 thanks to a win last night, and he didn’t hold back.

Here’s Cuban on “The Fred Roggin Show” on The Beast 980, a radio station in Los Angeles.
“As far as the Lakers, I think there are going to be a lot of teams that are going to be focusing and saying, ‘Look, I’ve got a ton of cap room, free agents A, B and C, why don’t you guys come together and come play for me?’ And L.A. has always been considered a destination, so maybe they feel there’s a valid strategy. You know me, Fred. Personally, I just hope they suck forever.”
Well, Cuban sure does know how to make a statement. He’s basically saying, if it’s not about his Dallas Mavericks, then he doesn’t care and hopes the worst for them. It’s very understandable and you have to respect his confidence to say what he feels.
