Marcus Smart was part of the Boston Celtics group that joined together late in the season last year to make a late Playoff run and get the 7th seed. They faced off against the Cavaliers and got swept, but it was a great experience for players who are still growing. In Summer League action, Marcus Smart got hurt. He dislocated 2 fingers and had to leave the game.
Just to see how they looked:

No one can really tell how bad it really is. Marcus Smart tweeted something really over-kill for just a dislocated finger:
Thanks to everyone for the prayers thanks to the staff for all that they did to help just a minor set back for major comeback — marcus smart (@smart_MS3) July 17, 2015
A come-back? Get’s a Celtics fan scared. Not to worry, it doesn’t seem that serious in the end. According to A. Sherrod Blakely of CSN New England:
The Boston Celtics got quite a scare when Marcus Smart went down with what team officials determined to be dislocated right index and middle fingers.
Additional tests will be performed, but a source close to Smart told CSNNE.com that “he should be okay” and added that initial tests have the Celtics “almost 100 percent sure nothing” is broken.
That means that Smart is most likely out for the rest of Summer League action and may miss NBA first exhibition game in Africa next month, but he should be okay for the start of the season.
