The Los Angeles Lakers announced they have re-signed 33-year-old rookie Marcelo Huertas. The terms of the deal aren’t official but Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports that it is a two year deal. The Brazilian point guard is currently playing in the Olympics for the host country.
Last season Huertas averaged 4.5 points and 3.4 assists while playing 16 minutes a game. Huertas is a nice guy to have at the end of your bench, last season Huertas did have two outstanding highlight.
I have seen that play about 50 times and I laugh every single time. But Huertas also pulled off perhaps the sneakiest play in NBA history.
After these two videos I want Huertas to play a lot this season. Forget D’Angelo Russell!
