The Ravens have found a new offensive coordinator after Gary Kubiak left for Denver. Marc Trestman will be the new offensive coordinator. Trestman will become the 5th offensive coordinator in 5 seasons for Baltimore. While Ravens fans are discouraged Kubiak has left, Trestman is considered a brilliant offensive mind. Trestman had mild success with journeyman quarterback Josh McCown in Chicago. The Ravens will have to make some tough decisions on their impending free agents Justin Forsett, Torrey Smith, and Pernell McPhee. Trestman may look to bring some of his former Bears to Chicago as Kubiak did last season with Forsett and Owen Daniels.
The Ravens players may extra motivated the next time they play the Denver Broncos after Kubiak went back on his word. Following the playoff loss to New England Kubiak stated he would remain in Baltimore next season. He later changed his mind once the denver job oppened up. https://defpen.com/gary-kubiak-to-remain-with-ravens/
