The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the San Antonio Spurs 110-108 in a thrilling overtime matchup to tie the series at 2 a piece. After looking down and out after game 2 of this series, the Grizzlies have battled their way back and made this a series. Not only was this a huge game, but this game had a little bit of everything and included a wild ending thanks to center Marc Gasol.
With only 7.2 seconds remaining, the Grizzlies had a side out and the initial pass was to point guard Mike Conley Jr who was having himself a game. Conley quickly dished it to center Marc Gasol near the free throw line and immediately cut to his left. Conley, who had 35 points at that time, garnered the attention of two defenders and allowed Gasol to drive, create some separation, and hit the contested running jumper with 0.7 seconds remaining.
