Fresh off of dropping a new five track project, Mahalia is back with the first visual off of the project. This time, Mahalia teams up with director, KLVDR, for a powerful new visual featuring UK emcee, Kojey Radical. In the new visual, Mahalia sings about breaking free and living your own life. Mahalia sings, “When I wake up in love, leave my heart in your bed/It was so scary/Wonderful queen, might just get married/Well I’ll be back, no, please don’t worry/It don’t mean you no harm/Left before the alarm/But I’m never too far.”
In the visual, Mahalia does much of what she says in the song. The UK singer can be found posted with her crew standing tall as Kojey Radical is left floundering. In many ways, the video turns the table on much of what we see in most other videos. In a short statement, Mahalia said, “This is my favorite video yet. I’m so happy I could work with Kojey on this one.” She also added, “‘One Night Only’ is so special to me and I got to include some of my favorite girls. Hope you love it as much as I do!” Check out the video in its entirety above and let us know what you think of the new record out of the UK.
