The Orlando Magic have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent Marreese Speights, according to Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today. The agreement will be worth the veteran’s minimum.
Marreese Speights headed to the Magic on a one-year, veteran's minimum deal ($2.1M), I'm told. https://t.co/GlpynXpEGu

International basketball reporter David Pick was first to report on the news.
Speights, 29, averaged 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 82 games with the Clippers last season. Before joining the Clippers last summer, Speights was a part of a Golden State Warriors team that held two straight NBA Finals appearances.
He has made stops with Philadelphia, Memphis, Cleveland, Golden State and the Clippers during his 9-year NBA career.
Along with Speights, the Magic also signed free agent guards Jonathon Simmons and Shelvin Mack this summer.
Speights, 29, is a valuable offensive player capable of providing a substantial boost off the bench. His respectable shooting from the perimeter and ability to rebound has earned him interest across the league in recent seasons as a free-agent.
The Magic already have significant depth in the frontcourt; Speights will be joining Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac and Bismack Biyombo.
