D.J. Augustin continues his journey around the NBA. The veteran point guard was a member of the Denver Nuggets last season, being a mentor and a leader alongside Jameer Nelson and Mike Miller to young guards Emmanuel Mudiay and Gary Harris.
Augustin’s time in the NBA isn’t quite over yet but he will be taking his talents to another young team. Augustin will have the opportunity to team up with former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Serge Ibaka. Last week, the forward was moved during a draft day trade to the Orlando Magic and now in the first few hours of free agency, the point guard will follow suit.

Augustin is entering his ninth season in the NBA with what will be his eighth different organization. Look for the guard to take a backseat in a reserve role behind Elfrid Payton and fellow veteran guard C.J. Watson.
