Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are back for round 2. A little over two weeks ago we reported that the duo were gearing up for the release of their brand new single, ‘Downtown’. Fast-forward to today and their new record premiered earlier today across the country via radio. ‘Downtown’ scream vibes or retro with horns, drums, and a plethora of elements that make you feel as if you’re listening to a record that was released in the 80s. Paired with catchy lyrics and intriguing chorus changes, it’ll be interesting to see how the record will perform in radio and chart stances compared to the massive ‘Thrift Shop’.
