The sudden passing of rapper Mac Miller still has the world in shock.
The impact the Pittsburgh rapper had on those around him was special. His manager Christian Clancy discusses the memories in an op-ed piece for The Guardian.
Clancy describes Mac as “talented” and “selfless” in his writing.
“Malcolm was wildly driven and prolific – he had so much to say,” Clancy writes. “The studio was his safe place and it’s where his talent grew, to the point where he was able to make Swimming, a timeless, intimate album he was incredibly proud of.”
Clancy finishes the piece telling the late rapper just how much he misses him. Read the full note here.
Mac Miller’s latest album, Swimming, is Grammy-nominated for Best Rap Album.
