Time after time, artists of today’s generation are criticized for the visual output. Some say the videos of today lack creativity while others say they lack quality. Neither of those criticisms can be applied to M Huncho’s new video with Headie One. Kicking off the weekend. the two artists find themselves in a bunker during the “Warzone” video. Surrounded by World War II-like combat soldiers, the two fight their way to the top.
“Got this shotgun, and got it sawn-off/The nostrils long, so we gave it a nose job/Twenty-four hours, I ain’t had no sleep/I got PTSD, I can’t see myself fall off/Who done all them drills that the opp boys talk of? (Turn)/We play foul, so the ref took the ball of,” Headie One raps in the song’s opening verse.
“G-lock holds sixteen, I can spit this verse, leav? sixteen on them/My thumb’s so numb from the reload, one-thirty kilos/Buy my weight when I go grab reloads/In the hood, I’m an icon, Figo/Louis V in the trenches, fedora, and a pea coat/Two Gs on my off day, I’m Gucci, that’s the G code,” M Huncho adds in the second verse.
“Warzone” is rumored to be the third single from M Huncho’s upcoming album. While we wait for the project’s title, track list and release date, check out the “Warzone” video below.
