Lupita Nyong’o, who has been making strides in Hollywood over the last few years, is now under the eye of Marvel. Nyong’o, a budding star is currently in talks to star alongside Chadwick Boseman in Marvel’s Black Panther. Though the contract negotiations have started, the character Marvel wants her to take on has yet to be revealed.
Boseman made his debut as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, which recently released and has become the talk of the town. Boseman portrayed T’Challa, the King of Wakanda perfectly.
Ryan Coogler is helping write the script and will be the director of the 2018 Black Panther film, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Lupita Nyong’o as his female lead. Production for the film is set to begin early 2017 and will be released to theaters February 2, 2018.
