Over the past week, the world of music has been filled with praise for Tha Carter V. After a two decade run in music, it has been incredible to watch the New Orleans legend garner the admiration and praise he has earned. Not to mention, Wayne also put out a great twenty-three project that includes features from Travis Scott, Ashanti and more. Standout tracks that have risen to the top include “Don’t Cry”, “Let It Fly” and “Uproar”. Above all others, the Kendrick Lamar assisted “Mona Lisa” has sat at the top of many Carter V discussions. The storytelling aspect and lyricism displayed on the track stands out and mesmerizes fans. Today, Lupe Fiasco took a crack at the standout track, “Mona Lisa”.

Fresh off of releasing a solid project of his own, Lupe Fiasco has taken some time to remix Wayne’s “Mona Lisa” into his own song called “Left To Right”. On the track, Lupe shifts focus from the classic “Mona Lisa” painting to DaVinci’s iconic painting, The Last Supper. Lupe tweeted out his remake of the track with a caption that read, ” I liked Wayne & Kendrick Lamar’s “Mona Lisa”, so I wanted to flip it, but use a different painting, so I took DaVinci’s The Last Supper.” Listen to the full track above and let us know what you think.
