If there was a winner during last weekend’s Verzuz battle, it was Ludacris. In spite of Nelly’s internet difficulties, the Atlanta legend was able to keep the crowd entertained. Showcasing his catalog that spans two decades, he showed that his resume can go toe to toe with many of your favorite artists. From “Yeah!” to the “Made You Look” remix, there’s not much he didn’t get to during his Instagram Live set.
During Nelly’s brief interruptions, Ludacris was able to preview two records. On one record, he collaborated with Chance The Rapper. On the other record, he collaborated with Lil’ Wayne. After teasing both last weekend, he has decided to release “S.O.T.L” featuring Lil’ Wayne.
Despite gaining positive reviews from most last weekend, many did cringe when he previewed “S.O.T.L” featuring Lil’ Wayne because of its reference to disgraced songwriter R. Kelly.
“The world’s screwed and niggas pourin’ drinks like Bill Huxtable/I love R.?Kelly?but around my?daughters, I’m not comfortable,” he rapped.
