Kyle Lowry and LaMarcus Aldridge have been recently named the NBA’s Players of the Week for the games played between Dec 1-7.
Kyle Lowry
Lowry led the Raptors to a 2-1 record this week pouring an NBA’s best 29.3 points in scoring 8.7 assists grabbed 3.0 rebounds and snatched 1.3 steals. Raptors won back-to-back road games against the Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz. On Dec.3 Lowry dropped a career high in points (39) shooting 13-22 from the field with 5 rebounds and 4 assists to 123-104 Raptors win over the Jazz. The Raptors are currently 15-5 with a matchup against the Denver Nuggets at 7:30 est tonight.
LaMarcus Aldridge
Aldridge carried the Portland Trail Blazers to a 3-0 record this week with two road wins against the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks. Aldridge put up 27 points ranking him 3rd in the league in scoring and 6th in rebound grabbed 11.7 rebounds. In all three outings Aldridge tallied double-doubles. On Dec .2 he put a monstrous performance with 39 points and 11 rebounds to help the Blazers beat the Nuggets 105-13.
