“This is the moment I accept the most challenging times will always be behind me AND in front of me.” – Kobe Bryant
When news first came out about Los Angeles Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant’s injury and what kind of treatment he might require, it was a blow to the basketball world and shock came along with it.
Along with many questions, most of them about Kobe Bryant’s future.
Kobe on the other hand didn’t seem to have too many questions when he finally found out what exactly is going on with his shoulder, which essentially is one of the muscles in his shoulder was pulled completely off the bone.
His response wasn’t ‘what’s next?’ or ‘what does that mean for me career?’ or even ‘so where do we go from here?’, instead his immediate response was ‘Ok’, which is fittingly also the title of the video.
The behind-the-scenes access was captured in this video from ‘The Player’s Tribune‘, a site created by the help of New York Yankees legendary shortstop Derek Jeter that sets out to provide athletes with unfiltered access to share their stories with the fans. When you get the type of inside access that Kobe Bryant allowed cameras to have for his examination with his doctor for his torn rotator cuff, the results can be fascinating.
Hoping for a full recovery from Kobe Bryant.
