When the Lakers get injured this year, it seems like they get hurt at the worst times. Now an injury to their starting center, Jordan Hill, will sideline him.
It happened during the Lakers loss on Super Bowl Sunday to the New York Knicks. Hill played only 7 minutes before he was forced to exit the game.
This comes off a fantastic performance by Hill when he led the Lakers to a double overtime victory against the Chicago Bulls.

Lakers forward Jordan Hill has a strained hip muscle and will likely miss two weeks, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Hill is in the last year of his deal so it would probably be wise, especially since the Lakers aren’t going to make the playoffs this year, to get him for whatever he’s worth.
If he’s back right before the trade deadline, trading him should be a priority. He could garner some interest for some teams in need of some front court help and he is a very serviceable big man in the NBA. He’s a proven veteran and he’s a pretty solid option offensively and isn’t afraid defensively to square up with some of the leagues best big men.
