According to multiple reports out of California, the Los Angeles Clippers are looking into buying their own arena to play in. Instead of having to share Staples Center with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Los Angeles Sparks, the Clippers are looking at Inglewood, California as a possible destination.

Back in October of 2016, Los Angeles Clippers owner, Steve Ballmer, let people know that he was searching for new arena options. The problem for the Clippers is that they are under lease with Staples Center until 2024.
Even with the lease, there are reports that Ballmer and the Clippers are going to announce their plans on constructing a new place to play in today.

With both the Clippers and Lakers playing in the same arena and the addition of Steve Ballmer a few years ago, there has been no shortage of drama between the two teams. The Clippers decided to cover up all of the Lakers championship banners with banners of their own players.
As the Clippers continue to try and get out of the Lakers shadow, moving into their own arena is a good start.
