The Los Angeles Clippers may have more depth than ever this season. Opting to bring back the main core for at least one more run, LAC may be the only team to challenge the new-look Warriors in the West.
Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will be back in full health to join DeAndre Jordan. The team added depth with Raymond Felton, Marreese Speights, Alan Anderson, and Brandon Bass.
The Spurs are older, the Thunder lost Durant, and the Jazz may be too young to make a real run. This may be the best opportunity for the Clippers to reach the Western Conference Finals.
The Los Angeles Clippers’ official 2016-2017 shows them opening their season on October 27th, visiting the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland had eliminated them 4-2 during last year’s Playoffs. The Clippers, who were missing Chris Paul and Blake Griffin to injuries, will be at their full strength this time.
The Clippers also will play against the Lakers on Christmas, ending the day with a late 7:30 start (10:30 eastern).
They’re scheduled to play the rival Golden State Warriors three times between January 28th and February 23rd, and also have the most national TV games outside of Golden State with 25, tied with Chicago and Cleveland.
