It’s been a rough few weeks in Los Angeles for Lakers fans. First, the Lakers were eliminated from the NBA playoffs yet again. Then, Magic Johnson unexpectedly quit his job. Next, Luke Walton was fired and immediately went upstate to join the Sacramento Kings. Now, the franchise is searching for the perfect coach to help LeBron and company make the playoffs for the first time in years. With all of that going on, Lakers point guard, Lonzo Ball, is seemingly taking a few steps forward off the court.

Most recently, Lonzo Ball appeared to take a stand for himself when he distanced himself from the Big Baller Brand. Moving forward, it appears that he will be looking to expand his presence into the world of film and television. Lonzo Ball has expressed interest in joining his teammate, LeBron James, in Space Jam 2.
When asked about the possibility of being in Space Jam 2, Ball seemed optimistic. He said, “He knows I’d love to be in it, so, we’ll see, we’ll see what happens.” He also added his own two cents about James move to Los Angeles. Ball said, “I just think in his career, L.A. was the right move for him, both on the court and off the court. I’m happy he came.”
Space Jam 2 will begin filming this summer and premiere worldwide in July 2021.
